Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz vegetarian chicken strips

  • 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the vegetarian chicken strips and cook until lightly browned, about 5-6 minutes. Remove the strips from the skillet and set aside.
