Ingredients

  • 200 g Plant-based chicken strips
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 8 pieces Whole wheat bread slices
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 1 small Cucumber
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 teaspoon of olive oil.

Step 2

Add the plant-based chicken strips to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes, until they are warm and slightly golden. Remove from heat and let them cool slightly.

Step 3

While the chicken strips are cooling, wash and dry the lettuce leaves, slice the tomato thinly, and peel and slice the cucumber.

Step 4

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled plant-based chicken strips with the mayonnaise, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the chicken strips are evenly coated.

Step 5

Lay out the slices of bread on a clean surface.
