Ingredients

  • 400 grams Plant-based minced chicken
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 medium Tomato
  • 150 grams Green peas
  • 4 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 pieces Green chili
  • 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 1 small Lemon

Directions

Step 1

Finely chop the onion, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, and green chilies.

Step 2

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Step 3

Add the minced garlic and ginger to the onions and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 4

Stir in the chopped green chilies, followed by the tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes become soft and oil begins to separate.

Step 5

Add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to the tomato-onion mixture. Cook the spices for about 3 minutes, stirring continuously.

Step 6

Fold in the plant-based minced chicken and mix well until fully combined with the masala.

Step 7

Add the green peas and mix again. Lower the heat and cover the pan. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, allowing the keema to absorb the flavors.

Step 8

Uncover the pan, sprinkle with garam masala, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Step 9

Remove the pan from heat and garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.

Step 10

Serve hot with naan, rice, or roti for a complete meal.
