  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup, chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 zested and juiced lemon

Directions

Step 1

Heat the vegetable oil in a karahi or large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the finely sliced onions and sauté until they become golden brown.

Add the garlic and ginger paste and stir for 1-2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they start to soften and the oil begins to separate from the mixture.
