Ingredients

  • 1 piece French bread loaf
  • 6 slices Vegetarian ham slices
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese slices
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 leaves Lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Slice the French bread loaf horizontally in half and then cut it into four equal parts.

Spread a light layer of butter on the cut sides of each bread piece.

Toast the bread pieces in a pan over medium heat, buttered side down, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Slice the tomato thinly and set aside.
