Ingredients

  • 300 g Vegetarian beef slices
  • 200 g Rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce (vegetarian)
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 Red bell pepper, sliced
  • 150 g Broccoli florets
  • 1 Carrot, julienned
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 60 ml Water

Directions

Step 1

Soak the rice noodles in warm water for 10 minutes or until soft. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, and water. Dissolve the cornstarch in this mixture and set aside.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Add the vegetarian beef slices and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and heated through. Remove from the wok and set aside.

Step 5

In the same wok, add the remaining sesame oil. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the red bell pepper slices, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
