Ingredients

  • 2 whole Everything bagels
  • 4 pieces Vegetarian bacon strips
  • 2 whole Large eggs
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Split the everything bagels in half and lightly toast them to your preference.

Step 2

In a medium frying pan over medium heat, cook the vegetarian bacon strips until crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.

Step 3

In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt over medium heat. Gently crack the eggs into the pan, keeping them separate. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Cook the eggs to your liking. For sunny-side-up eggs, cover the pan with a lid and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the whites are set.

Spread the remaining butter on each cut side of the toasted bagels.
