Ingredients

  • 2 units Plain bagel
  • 4 slices Vegetarian bacon strips
  • 2 units Large eggs
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Slice the bagels in half and set aside.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.

Step 3

Once the oil is hot, cook the vegetarian bacon strips for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they're crispy.

Step 4

Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Step 5

In a small mixing bowl, beat the eggs together with salt, pepper, and milk until well combined.

Step 6

Melt a tablespoon of butter in another non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Step 7

Pour in the eggs and allow them to cook undisturbed for about a minute, then gently stir with a spatula, bringing the cooked outer edges towards the center.

Step 8

Continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are just set and slightly creamy.

Step 9

Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 10

Toast the bagel halves in a toaster or skillet until they are golden brown.

Step 11

Spread the remaining tablespoon of butter onto the toasted sides of the bagels.

Step 12

Assemble the bagels by layering one slice of cheddar cheese on the bottom bagel half, followed by a portion of scrambled eggs, two slices of vegetarian bacon, and another slice of cheddar cheese.

Step 13

Top with the other bagel half and gently press down to help the cheese melt slightly.

Step 14

Serve the vegetarian bacon, egg, and cheese bagels immediately while they are warm.
