Ingredients

  • 3 cups Plain flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1.25 cups Warm water
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons Vegemite
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.

Step 2

Add the warm water and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Step 3

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough into a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish or loaf pan.
