  • 300 grams Water spinach (kangkung)
  • 5 small Shallots
  • 4 medium Garlic cloves
  • 2 large Red chili
  • 1 tablespoon Vegan oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut sugar
  • 50 milliliters Water
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil (such as coconut or vegetable oil)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Wash the water spinach thoroughly to remove any dirt. Trim the tough stems, keeping only the tender stems and leaves. Set aside.

Peel and thinly slice the shallots and garlic.

Step 3

Slice the red chilies diagonally into thin pieces. For less heat, deseed the chilies before slicing.

Heat the cooking oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat.
