  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 120 grams vegan mozzarella
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes
  • 8 leaves fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Slice the tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds and set them aside.

If using, peel the garlic clove and rub it on one side of each bread slice for a subtle garlic flavor.

Brush one side of each sourdough bread slice with olive oil.
