Ingredients

  • 2 sheets vegan puff pastry sheets
  • 200 grams fresh spinach leaves
  • 150 grams vegan feta cheese
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Step 2

Finely dice the red onion and mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet, cooking and stirring occasionally until wilted, about 5 minutes.

Transfer the spinach mixture to a mixing bowl. Stir in the vegan feta cheese, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
