Ingredients

  • 1 pound Vegan ground beef substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 medium, chopped Onion
  • 2 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 sheet Vegan puff pastry
  • 2 tablespoons Plant-based milk

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Step 4

Stir in the vegan ground beef substitute and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add soy sauce, nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt to the skillet. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Roll out the vegan puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface, then cut it into 6 equal rectangles.
