  • 2 tablespoons Plant-based milk
  • 2 tablespoons Vegan butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 Vegan cheddar cheese slices

Directions

Step 1

Cut the firm tofu block into four even round slices, about 1/2-inch thick, to resemble egg patties.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix together turmeric powder, black salt, nutritional yeast, plant-based milk, salt, and pepper.

Brush the tofu slices with the mixture on both sides.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu slices; cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they begin to turn golden. Remove and set aside.
