In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk and vegan butter over low heat until the butter is melted. Remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm.
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
Pour the lukewarm almond milk mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough begins to form.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. The dough should be soft but not sticky.
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
While the dough is rising, prepare the sausages. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the vegan sausages for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned. Set aside to cool.
