  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 0.5 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup Dark rum
  • 0.75 cup Raisins
  • 0.25 teaspoon Sea salt

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, soak the raisins in the dark rum for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow them to absorb the rum flavor fully.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, combine the coconut milk, almond milk, maple syrup, and sea salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture begins to steam, but do not bring it to a boil.

In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Gradually add this to the heated milk mixture, stirring constantly.
