Ingredients

  • 420 grams All-purpose flour
  • 50 grams Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Instant yeast
  • 240 milliliters Unsweetened almond milk
  • 56 grams Vegan butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 150 grams Raisins
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 50 grams Brown sugar

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well.

In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk and vegan butter over low heat until the butter is melted and the mixture is warm (about 38°C / 100°F). Do not bring it to a boil.

Add the warm almond milk mixture and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough begins to form.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
