  • 0.5 cup Vegan protein powder
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1.25 cups Unsweetened almond milk
  • 0.5 cup Maple syrup
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Vegan chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the oat flour, vegan protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Step 3

In another bowl, mix the almond milk, maple syrup, unsweetened applesauce, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.

Step 4

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter.

Step 5

Fold in the vegan chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.

Step 6

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly with a spatula.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few crumbs.

Step 8

Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 9

Cut into 12 squares and serve. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
