Ingredients

  • 250 grams, sliced chestnut mushrooms
  • 1 can (400g), drained and rinsed cooked chickpeas
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices vegan cheese slices
  • 2 medium, cut in half lengthwise baguette

Directions

Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.

Step 3

Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the sliced mushrooms to the skillet, and cook for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms are browned.
