Ingredients

  • 400 grams whole wheat or gluten-free pasta

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 800 grams canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 10 leaves fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 100 grams vegan cheese, shredded

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
