Ingredients

  • 300 grams All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 240 milliliters Warm water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Vegan butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried parsley

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl or in the bowl of a stand mixer, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir slightly and let sit for about 5 minutes until the mixture is bubbly and foamy.

Step 2

Add the olive oil, salt, and about half of the flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until combined.

Step 3

Gradually add the remaining flour, mixing to form a slightly sticky dough. If using a stand mixer, knead with the dough hook attachment for about 5 minutes on medium speed, or knead by hand on a floured surface for about 7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Step 4

Lightly oil a large bowl, place the dough inside, cover with plastic wrap or a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.

Step 5

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a log about 7 inches long.
