Ingredients

  • 150 grams Raw cashews
  • 100 milliliters Almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tablespoons Nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Sweet paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chives, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Place the cashews in a bowl and cover them with boiling water. Let them soak for at least 15 minutes to soften.

Step 2

Drain the cashews and add them to a high-speed blender or food processor.

Step 3

Add the almond milk, melted coconut oil, nutritional yeast, smoked and sweet paprika, caraway seeds, onion powder, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the blender.

Step 4

Blend the mixture on high until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. Scrape down the sides of the blender as necessary.

Step 5

Transfer the obazda mixture to a mixing bowl and stir in the chopped chives.

Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary, adding more salt or lemon juice if needed.
