  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 115 grams Vegan butter, softened
  • 100 grams Brown sugar
  • 50 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 60 ml Unsweetened applesauce
  • 100 grams Raisins
  • 50 grams Chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened vegan butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using an electric hand mixer on medium speed until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
