Ingredients

  • 4 Vegan burger patties
  • 250 grams Baby bella mushrooms
  • 4 Vegan Swiss cheese slices
  • 4 Whole-grain burger buns
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 Lettuce leaves
  • 8 Tomato slices
  • 4 tablespoons Vegan mayonnaise

Directions

Step 1

Slice the baby bella mushrooms thinly and set aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Step 3

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they begin to brown and soften.

Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper, and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms are fully cooked and have absorbed the flavors.

Remove the mushrooms from the skillet and set them aside.
