  • 400 ml Full-fat coconut milk
  • 100 grams Jaggery
  • 200 grams Coconut yogurt
  • 4 pieces Cardamom pods
  • 5 strands Saffron strands
  • 2 tablespoons Pistachios (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Almonds (chopped)

Directions

Step 1

Begin by crushing the cardamom pods in a mortar and pestle until they form a coarse powder. Set aside.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, pour the full-fat coconut milk and heat it over medium flame until it comes to a gentle boil.

Step 3

Lower the heat and add the jaggery, stirring continuously so that it completely dissolves into the coconut milk.

Step 4

Add the crushed cardamom and saffron strands to the saucepan, and allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes. This will let the flavors infuse well.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool down to a warm temperature, slightly above room temperature.
