  • 4 pieces pita breads
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 2 medium tomato
  • 8 leaves lettuce leaves
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Drain the tofu and press it between two plates to remove excess moisture. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Once pressed, cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes.
