Ingredients

  • 250 grams All-purpose flour
  • 40 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Instant yeast
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 120 milliliters Unsweetened almond milk
  • 50 grams Coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 150 grams Jam of choice
  • 30 grams Confectioners' sugar
  • 1000 milliliters Vegetable oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, warm the almond milk slightly over low heat, just until it's lukewarm.

Step 3

Melt the coconut oil and add it to the warm almond milk, along with the vanilla extract. Mix well.

Step 4

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough begins to form.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8-10 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
