  • 2 pieces Black tea bags
  • 1 piece Cinnamon stick
  • 4 pieces Cardamom pods
  • 4 pieces Whole cloves
  • 1 piece Star anise
  • 5 pieces Black peppercorns
  • 1 inch piece Fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 250 ml Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

Start by bringing 500 ml of water to a boil in a small pot.

Step 2

Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the black tea bags, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, star anise, and black peppercorns.

Peel and slice the fresh ginger into thin pieces, then add it to the pot.
