  • 1 inch piece, sliced fresh ginger
  • 5 pieces black peppercorns
  • 1 piece anise star
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 250 ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, add the water, black tea bags, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, sliced ginger, black peppercorns, and anise star.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
