  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 6 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 can (14 ounces) canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup, chopped flat-leaf parsley

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent.

Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
