Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Green tea leaves
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Agave nectar
  • 5 leaves Fresh mint leaves
  • 0.5 Lemon

Directions

Step 1

Heat 2 cups of water in a small pot on the stove until it is just about to boil, then remove the pot from the heat.

Add 2 teaspoons of green tea leaves to a tea infuser or a heatproof mug.

Step 3

Pour the hot water over the tea leaves and let them steep for about 3 minutes for a mild flavor, or up to 5 minutes if you prefer a stronger taste.

Step 4

While the tea is steeping, gently wash and tear the fresh mint leaves to release their aroma, and slice half a lemon into thin rounds.

Step 5

Once the tea is steeped to your preferred strength, remove the tea infuser or strain the leaves if they were directly in the water.
