  • 250 g All-purpose flour
  • 5 g Active dry yeast
  • 125 ml Warm water
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 150 g Raw cashews
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp Nutritional yeast
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 100 ml Water
  • 150 g Smoked tofu
  • 1 Red onion
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh chives
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Start by preparing the dough: In a bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

Step 2

Add the all-purpose flour, olive oil, and salt, and mix together until a dough forms.

Step 3

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Step 4

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about 30 minutes in a warm place.

While the dough is rising, make the cashew cream: Soak the raw cashews in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain.

In a blender, combine the soaked cashews, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, peeled garlic clove, and water. Blend until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
