Ingredients

  • 200 grams Firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons Nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black salt (Kala Namak)
  • 2 pieces Vegan sausage patties
  • 2 pieces English muffins
  • 2 pieces Vegan cheese slices
  • 1 medium Avocado
  • 1 cup Spinach leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Start by pressing the tofu to remove excess water. Use a tofu press or place it between two plates and weigh down with a heavy object for about 10 minutes.

While the tofu is pressing, preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat with the olive oil.

Crumble the pressed tofu into a bowl. Add the nutritional yeast, turmeric powder, black salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Once the pan is hot, add the tofu mixture and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it’s heated through and slightly golden.

In a separate pan, cook the vegan sausage patties according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes on each side until heated through.
