Ingredients

  • 1 cup Raw cashews
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 0.25 cup Nutritional yeast
  • 4 oz can Chopped green chilies
  • 10 oz can Diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 0.25 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lime juice
  • 10 oz bag Tortilla chips

Directions

Step 1

Place the raw cashews in a bowl and cover them with hot water. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes to soften.

Step 2

Drain the soaked cashews and add them to a blender along with almond milk, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, turmeric, and salt.

Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides to make sure everything gets blended well.
