  • 5 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 unit avocado, sliced
  • 4 units vegan burger buns
  • 4 units lettuce leaves
  • 4 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 unit tomato, sliced

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the ground flaxseed with water and let it sit for 5 minutes to create a flax egg.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the chickpeas with a fork or potato masher until mostly smooth with some chunks remaining for texture.
