  • 200 grams Dark chocolate (vegan)
  • 100 grams Coconut oil
  • 200 milliliters Full-fat coconut milk
  • 100 milliliters Maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 100 grams All-purpose flour
  • 25 grams Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.

Chop the vegan dark chocolate into small pieces and place them in a heatproof bowl. Add the coconut oil to the bowl.

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together by placing the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (double boiler method), stirring frequently until smooth. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
