Ingredients

  • 2 cups Short grain rice
  • 2.5 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 1 sheet Nori sheets (crushed)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0 as needed for frying Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the rice under cold water a few times until the water runs clear.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, combine the rice and 2.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil over high heat.

Step 3

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it sit, covered, for another 10 minutes to finish steaming.
