Ingredients

  • 4 medium Potatoes
  • 0.5 cup Chickpea flour
  • 2 tablespoons Nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (gluten-free if desired)
  • 2 cups Oil for frying

Directions

Step 1

Peel and quarter the potatoes. Place them in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender (about 15 minutes), then drain and let them cool slightly.

Step 2

Mash the potatoes in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in the chickpea flour, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Chop the fresh parsley finely and add it to the potato mixture. Mix until well incorporated.
