  • 6 grams salt
  • 3 grams baking powder
  • 1000 milliliters neutral oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, coconut sugar, salt, and baking powder.

Step 2

In a small cup, mix the active dry yeast with 60 milliliters of warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Step 3

Add the yeast mixture and the remaining 120 milliliters of water to the dry ingredients. Stir until a rough dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough back into a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until doubled in size.
