Ingredients

  • 14 oz extra-firm tofu
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 0.25 cup pecans, toasted
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 0.25 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1

Press the extra-firm tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess moisture. Slice the tofu into thin strips about 1/2-inch wide.

In a bowl, toss the tofu strips with cornstarch until evenly coated.
