Ingredients

  • 1 medium Shallot
  • 2 Garlic cloves

  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Coconut cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Nutritional yeast
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Finely chop the shallot and garlic cloves. Crush the black peppercorns using a mortar and pestle until they are coarsely ground.

Heat olive oil in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped shallot and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the shallots are translucent and soft.
