  • 3 cups Powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup Vegan butter (for frosting)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons Almond milk (or other plant-based milk, for frosting)
  • 4 drops Food coloring (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened vegan butter and granulated sugar until creamy and smooth, about 2 minutes.

Add the vanilla extract and almond milk to the butter and sugar mixture, continuing to mix until fully incorporated.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until you form a dough. It should be smooth and hold together well.
