  • 1 inch piece Ginger, grated
  • 400 grams Canned diced tomatoes
  • 400 milliliters Coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons Garam masala
  • 2 teaspoons Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Heat the coconut oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 3

Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Add the garam masala, curry powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, paprika, and salt, and cook while stirring for 1-2 minutes to toast the spices.
