Warm the almond milk in a small saucepan until it's about 38°C (100°F), warm but not hot to touch.
Pour the warm almond milk into a large mixing bowl and sprinkle the active dry yeast over top. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
Add the cane sugar, melted vegan butter, and salt to the yeast mixture and stir to combine.
Gradually add the all-purpose flour, about 60 grams at a time, mixing well after each addition, until the dough begins to come together.
Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Lightly oil a large bowl with the neutral oil. Place the dough in the bowl, turning to coat with oil.
Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until the dough has doubled in size.
After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface.
Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cover the baking dish with a kitchen towel and allow the rolls to rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 18-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown on top.
Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven and immediately brush the tops with melted vegan butter.
