  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon non-dairy milk

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the ground flaxseed with 3 tablespoons of water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken, forming a flax egg.

Step 2

Gently warm the almond milk to about 38°C (100°F), ensuring it is not too hot to touch. Add the dry active yeast and a teaspoon from the granulated sugar to the warm milk, stirring until dissolved. Let this mixture sit for 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, remaining granulated sugar, and salt.
