  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Cornmeal
  • 0.25 cup Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) for a crisp crust and ensure oven racks are in the middle position.

If using refrigerated pizza dough, remove it from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes, while you prepare other ingredients.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thinness. Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza stone or a baking sheet coated with cornmeal to prevent sticking.
