Ingredients

  • 4 pieces vegan hamburger buns
  • 4 pieces Beyond Meat patties
  • 4 slices vegan cheddar cheese slices
  • 1 medium ripe tomatoes
  • 4 pieces lettuce leaves
  • 1 small red onion
  • 8 slices pickles
  • 4 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Slice the tomato into thin rounds and set aside. Peel the red onion and slice it into thin rings.

Step 3

Drizzle olive oil lightly over the grill or skillet. Once heated, place the Beyond Meat patties on the grill.

Step 4

Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they have a nice brown crust.

Step 5

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of vegan cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover the grill or pan to melt the cheese.

Step 6

While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster if desired.

Step 7

Spread about 1 tablespoon of vegan mayonnaise on the cut side of each half of the buns.

Step 8

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cheesy Beyond Meat patty.

Step 9

Add two slices of tomato, a few rings of red onion, and two slices of pickles on top of each patty.

Step 10

Drizzle 1 tablespoon of ketchup and 1/2 teaspoon of mustard on the top buns, then sprinkle with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Step 11

Place the top bun over the assembled burger and serve immediately.
