Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup Coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Vegan chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons Maple syrup

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, combine the almond milk, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar. Mix well.

Step 4

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about three-quarters full.
