Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Large potatoes (russet or Yukon Gold)
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro leaves

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Using a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife, slice the potatoes thinly (about 1/8-inch thick).

Step 3

Place the potato slices in a large bowl of cold water and let them soak for 10 minutes to remove excess starch. This helps them get crispier in the oven.

Drain and pat the potato slices dry with a clean kitchen towel.

Step 5

In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, chili powder, turmeric powder, ground cumin, coriander powder, garam masala, and lemon juice. Mix well to create a spiced marinade.

Add the potato slices to the mixing bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the spiced marinade.
