Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro
  • 3 tablespoons fried shallots
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the brown rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.

In a large pot, combine the rinsed brown rice and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
